Numerical Recipes Public Domain Area Update Link / Bad Link?
"Numerical Recipes: The Art of Scientific Computing" is the title of a series of books developed by Numerical Recipes Software and published by Cambridge University Press. "Numerical Recipes" also refers to the copyrighted computer software that is in those books, and is the trademark for that software. The books and software are available in a variety of computer languages, notably C and Fortran (77 and 90), but also versions in other computer languages. There is no separate C++ version of NR. The C version can be used with C++ programs and compilers. We are considering a future, tightly integrated, C++ version, but not until full ANSI/ISO compliant C++ compilers are more widespread. We solicit comments from C++ experts. The C and Fortran versions contain about 350 separate routines for scientific computing.
