The Semiconductor Physics group investigates fundamental electronic phenomena using advanced, often unique, semiconductor structures. High-quality GaAs-AlGaAs wafers can be grown in our Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) machines, and the surface, or buried layers, patterned using optical, electron beam, or ion beam lithography.
