| CImg : A Templated Image Processing Library in C++ |

The CImg Library is a C++ toolkit that provides simple classes and functions to process and display images within your own C++ code. It only consists of a single header file CImg.h that must be included in your program. It fully works both on Unix/X11 and Windows operating systems. It depends on a minimal number of library : you can compile it with only standart C libraries. Additional features appear with the use of LAPACK, and ImageMagick. Then, no need to compile exotic libraries and to have huge makefile and complex dependencies ! CImg stands for "Cool Image" : It is designed to be simple to use and efficient.

A C++ class library for image coding and manipulation. It supports the PNG, TGA, TIFF, JPEG/JFIF, Windows BMP, and Mac PICT formats. The PNG, TIFF, and JPEG decoders are based on libpng, libtiff, and libjpeg, respectively. Data source and destination formats can be tailored as necessary. Additionally, format-independent but fast bitmap manipulation classes are available. A source code distribution is available.
