Graph

An applet for experimenting with graphs of cubic polynomials. This can easily be modified to graph anything. Submitted: Nov 10, 1999

Area

The applet below computes the area of a figure made of rectangles which approximates the region under the given curve. This curve is the graph of a polynomial of degree three or less. The coefficients are listed in the boxes just above the graph. In the startup example they are 0, 1, 0, 0, corresponding to the graph y = x^2, a parabola. Submitted: Nov 10, 1999

Length

An applet for experimenting with the arc length of graph of a cubic polynomial. Can easily be modified for other curves. Submitted: Nov 10, 1999
